I would prefer that Mazda would have kept the 40/20/40 rear seat design like in the CX-5 and the BMW. Also, they should have created more design differences between it and the CX-90, like making it a little shorter and maybe squaring off the rear end and making the rear glass more upright, IMO. Thanks for your reviews.

It's great looking! But like everyone else is saying, it's basically a CX-90 without the 3rd row.... It should at least be a few inches shorter.

Can’t wait to see the drives of these. After I get more use out of my 2022 CX5 Signature I’m thinking of maybe a CX70 Turbo S. Hope these new powertrains hold up.

It is pretty interesting that Mazda positions itself in the same class as luxury vehicles. I always just thought they would compare to Toyota, Honda, Nissan, etc. Not quite sure I’d consider Mazda luxury. Great review as always!!!

I have my xc40 for about 2 weeks and there's something I can't figure out. With apple carplay i would get calendar entries as suggested destnations in the maps app. I've been trying to get a similar flow with google calendar and maps in Android automotive but it just doesn't seem possible. Anyone experience with this?

All mazda had to do was to bring the CX80 and sell it as a CX70 over here. I don't know why but maybe it cost less to put a CX70 badge on a CX90 then to ship CX80s from Europe ?

This car is a solution looking for a problem. The GR Corolla is the RS/STI replacement. The Mach E is too heavy and too expensive, and those EV motors don't have the same high strung demeanor that small turbo engine has. And for EV performance enthusiasts, the Ioniq 5 N DECIMATES the Mach E Rally in every metric and costs the same. Sorry for the pun, but Ford is beating a dead horse.

Sadly used Toyota Supra is super expensive, you can get a Porche Cayman with 3,4l boxer 6 with 295hp for half and 1/3rd the price of a Supra.

I looked at a CX70, its not in the X5 league which I almost bought, and not in the league of a RX either.. The CX has a lot more plastic inside.. and the X5 which I like a lot, is far superior in almost every way. The X5 is way faster, handles better, many more options available.. but also much more $$$... The RX is far nicer on the road, very quiet, and has a much more luxury feel, better sound system, but again also more $$.... the RX350 models are gutless... The RX500h is quick, but not as quick as the BMW......... The CX is a little larger inside than the RX. I am looking at one and considering as my wife wants to trader her 2020 Rav 4 limited hybrid... The CX70 is a lot nicer than my wifes Rav 4, and larger... I will say that. I think its decent value for the $$

I’m sorry, BMW is at another league. This Mazda doesn’t have the dynamics or the refinement of that BMW, not even close.

I'm a commuter. I currently own a 2019 Genesis G70 3.3T, which I purchased new April 2019. Currently I have over 129k miles on it, no issues. Because I spend alot of time in my vehicle, I want something fun to drive. I'll take the fun to drive GENESIS over the better gas mileage Lexus. I don't really care for front wheel drive vehicles. More head to head ! Next Month, Genesis will have a stand alone dealership opening in my area. Ontario California!😊😊
